Lee Bell says Crewe Alexandra will never stop fighting for their Wembley dream.

The Railwaymen will face Doncaster Rovers in the second leg of their League Two Play-Off Semi-Final tonight (Friday, 8pm).

They are trailing 2-0 after the first leg, and Grant McCann’s side have won eight on the spin at Eco-Power Stadium.

But Manager Bell said: “We will fight in every minute of the game and we won’t give up.

“There’s always belief within this group. We are desperate to extend what has been a really positive season.

“We’ve worked so hard to get into this position and we don’t want to walk off the pitch not having had a real go. It could be an interesting night.

“There are lots of things to draw on. We have gathered the most points from losing positions in the league this season, and we have had the most clean sheets in 2024.

“We’ve had some many good days throughout the season, and we have put on good performances when we have needed to like at Stockport, Barrow, and Mansfield.

“We know the feeling you get from that, and the emotion that has to go into it.

“It’s a decent stadium, a good pitch and a packed atmosphere. Let’s hope it is a tense night for (Doncaster).”
