Crewe Alexandra cannot go simply go for broke when they visit Doncaster Rovers in the Play-Off Semi-Final second leg tomorrow (Friday, 8pm).

That’s according to Manager Lee Bell, who says The Railwaymen have to be professional as they attempt to turn around a 2-0 deficit.

Bell wants his men to play with freedom and take more risks in the attacking third, and feels that 90 minutes is plenty of time to upset the odds.

He explained: “It’s not about going gung ho from the start; we have to be wise and choose our moments.

“We’ve given ourselves a big task away from home against the league’s form team but we are putting a plan together. As long as there is time on the board we are still in the game.

“We’ve got to be positive and we will go there looking to score goals. The next goal in the tie could be crucial and it’s a test for us and one we are willing to take on.

“I don’t think there will be surprises from either team; we just have to show more belief in the final third and individual errors need to be cut out. We will have the quality on the pitch.

“We can go there with a lot of freedom and put everything into the game. We’ve had some really good away performances this season and we need one more.”
